This book contains 7 meditations on the Lord's Prayer. The Lord's Prayer is a part of
Jesus's teachings in the Sermon on the Mount. In this part of the sermon, Jesus addresses
the proper way to pray by providing a model prayer, so that Christians have a type of
checklist that helps them to see if their prayer life is on track. What these meditations
reveal is that the Lord's Prayer can be seen as Jesus's path to enlightenment. Jesus
taught, in this prayer, a seven-step process for acquiring spiritual purpose and wisdom.
One of the interesting features of these meditations is the way in which they have been
shown to correspond to the chakra energy centers identified by yogis of Eastern religious
traditions. In this sense, the Lord's Prayer is a universal road map to the throne of God,
where we offer ourselves in the form of an obedient servant, ready to do God's will.
