Our Cosmic and Spiritual Destiny: The Evolving Scientific and Philosophical Quest Based on Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, is a prodigious work of scope and scholarship. It unfolds the vista of human life in its origin, its environment (the cosmos) and its purpose/goal from the weltanschauung of philosophy, science and religion; particularly centered on the thought of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, one of the prominent figures in science-religion dialogue and synthesis of the last century. It offers us a pathway for the world as humanity collectively and as humans individually from the past which has been a process, the Alpha in the evolutionary sense to the present and to the future, the Omega Point, in the Teilhardian vision. This volume unfolds the history of humans, cultures, nations, religion, religious belief and the cosmos itself, which is the most complex and startling phenomenon after human life from time immemorial.
