In a living theology, there is a connection between theology and the everyday life. As Paul wants the Philippians to demonstrate the mind-set of Christ in their life and activities, all of us, both theologians and committed Christians, are expected to demonstrate the mind-set of Christ in our daily lives and ministry.

Rev. Dr. H. Vanlalauva was actively involved in the theological education under the Senate of Serampore College (University) for more than forty years (1981-2021). He served for some years (2004-2009) as Senator of Serampore College (University) and member of the Senate Executive Committee. In 2011, when the Research Department of the Senate/SATHRI was shifted from Bangalore to Serampore, he served as the first Dean till his retirement in 2014. He has been actively involved in the ministry of the Bible Society of India since 2015. Having served as the President of Aizawl Auxiliary of BSI for three terms (2015-2023), He is currently serving the BSI in its Council and Executive Committee. In addition to this book, he has written and edited the following theological books: Doctrine of God (2007), Lectures in Christian Doctrines (2018), Theology of John Calvin (2019), Doing Mission in India (2012), God of Life: Lead us to Justice and Peace (2013), and Methodological Issues in Theological Research: An Exploration, Vol. I & II (2013 & 2014).
