Alongla P. Aier is professor emeritus of English and Communications at Oriental Theological Seminary (OTS) in Bade, Nagaland India. OTS is the flagship seminary of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC). Besides her gift of teaching, Alongla's immense contribution in the public witness of Christ is noteworthy.
Alongla has co-founded an NGO, Sisterhood Network in 2001 to empower marginalized women and girls. She has served as a member of the National Society and Board of World Vision, India; a faculty member of the Haggai International; and continues to be a facilitator and mentor in Langham Partnership's Preaching initiative in Nagaland. In addition, Alongla has also taught and preached in numerous national and international seminars and conferences, including those organized by the Asian Baptist Federation and Baptist World Alliance. She continues to be active in this calling. Alongla and her husband, Wati Aier are based in Dimapur, Nagaland, and have two Children, Kristina and Justin.
