the two said faiths but its scrupulously segregated four sections cover:
Part I sets forth `Earlier Religions of India' inter-alia encompassing;
Earliest Vedic Religion, Brahmanism, and Buddhism. Part II looks into the
deep study done by the Author to understand the philosophy and other facets
of Hinduism. Part III exhibits inter-relation of Hinduism with
Mohammedanism, bringing out the vast age of history when India was
conquered by Mohammedans and its effects on Hindus and Hinduism.
Part IV meticulously covers the real purpose of the Book, i.e.,
interconnection between Hinduism and Christianity in terms of their
respective Affinities and Antagonisms; Reform Movements in Hinduism

The Author has also put forward his thought, that many of the leading
religious truths are same in both the stated religions but there is an
incredible iniquity in Hinduism that overshadows the efforts of its Reform
Movements. Finally, he believed that Christianity and its religious truths
have the promising hope for India.
