Indigenous people do have a written scripture, but their spirituality is embedded in their stories, myths and folklore. Indigenous peoples stories are not fairy tales, but they contain great moral values and spirituality. I am happy that the indigenous writers have brought out many hidden moral values that can help transform todays society.

Across generations, indigenous communities have preserved their heritage through narratives that reflect their experiences, worldview, and communal values. These accounts offer glimpses into the ways people have understood life, the natural environment, and the principles that guide harmonious living. Taken together, they reveal the depth and diversity of indigenous cultural expression. This volume is meaningful, timely and significant to the preservation of cultural memory and enables a wider readership to engage with the insight and richness of indigenous traditions.
