This book is a comprehensive and timely exploration of the moral foundations and practical challenges of ethical leadership in contemporary business. Rooted in Jesuit values and inspired by XLRI’s motto “Excellence and Integrity,” this revised and expanded edition spans 90 chapters across ten sections, engaging readers in deep moral reflection and real-world application. Drawing on Indian wisdom traditions, global case studies, behavioural science, and legal frameworks, the book equips future managers to think ethically, feel morally, and act responsibly. From classic theories like deontology and virtue ethics to contemporary concerns like AI ethics, ESG goals, and stakeholder capitalism, the book bridges philosophy and praxis. It is enriched with practical tools, reflective exercises, and case analyses, making it ideal for students, educators, and industry leaders alike. As part of XLRI’s EchicoSphere initiative, this book calls readers to move beyond compliance and toward courageous moral leadership for the greater good.
